All about the Venezianico Arsenale Bizantino - 6221520C
A Bridge Between East and West
The Arsenale Bizantino tells a story of convergence: the decorative opulence of Constantinople and the clear form of our designs. In this model, geometric ornamentation and reduced lines combine to create a dial that plays with anthracite with a fumé gradient and sunray enamel — a design that doesn't merely quote tradition but reinterprets it.

Geometry as a Guide for Light
On the case and bracelet, the finely crafted engravings follow strictly proportioned rhythms that direct light like an architect. Each surface is designed so that reliefs and planes interact; the result is a visible depth effect that guides the eye while conveying clear structure.
Materiality and Fine Craftsmanship
The 316L stainless steel case carries the engravings with precision and durability, while the sapphire crystal-protected dial reflects color in ever-changing facets. Technically, this sensory quality is complemented by the automatic Miyota 9039 caliber, a slim three-hand construction that combines aesthetic demands with reliable mechanics.

Proportions That Impress
Despite its richly decorated surface, the watch remains surprisingly understated in its dimensions: with a 40 mm diameter, 44 mm lug-to-lug, and an overall height under ten millimeters, the Arsenale Bizantino sits elegantly and flat on the wrist, without the embellishment compromising its wearability.
Dial and Legibility
The brass enamel dial with a smoky sunburst effect captures light and reveals it in concentric layers; the hands and indices are proportioned so that both legibility and ornamentation function simultaneously. Practicality is further enhanced by Swiss-Made BGW9 Super-LumiNova®, which provides subtle orientation at dusk.
Caseback as a Narrative
The solid caseback is more than just a closure: it features finely engraved figures of Justinian and Theodora, reduced yet expressive, thus connecting the watch's motif with the historical relationship between Byzantium and the Serenissima. The numbered edition on the caseback also emphasizes the uniqueness of each individual piece.

Bracelet as a Continuation
The bracelet seamlessly continues the design concept: to the left and right of the clasp, the sequence of ornamentation continues the visual rhythm, so that the case and bracelet appear as a single sculptural surface. The precision of the craftsmanship ensures that the tactile feel of the engravings does not interfere with wear but rather enhances it.
Balance of Art and Technology
The Arsenale Bizantino is neither a pure piece of jewelry nor a mere instrument — it is both at once: artistic surfaces executed with technical precision, and a watch that functions in everyday life (sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, screwed, solid case construction at 5 ATM). Those who wear it carry a piece of living craftsmanship on their wrist.

FAQs
About David from WATCHDAVID
My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.
If you have any questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I will respond personally.
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.
To do this, please simply contact me. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
No answer received?
You contacted me, via the contact form, about the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you didn't receive a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and crazier and are sending more and more to spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it may take a little longer. As a rule, I reply within a few minutes or hours.
Something can also slip through for me. Or the technology isn't working as it should. Feel free to contact me again. david@watchdavid.com
Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong
