The Venezianico Arsenale Calendario Blue introduces a new level of complexity to the Arsenale collection. Day, date, and month can be read at a glance, complemented by the power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and the newly interpreted 24-hour display at 6 o’clock, which here is not a classic hand but solved via a day-night disc with a sapphire half-moon and two visible screws.

24 Hours Architecture
The display at 6 o’clock is one of the most exciting details of this watch. Instead of a classic 24-hour hand, Venezianico opts here for a mechanically conceived day-night display: a separate disc represents the transition between light and darkness, while a sapphire half-moon, fixed with two screws, defines the transition. This makes the function feel not tacked on but a genuine part of the dial architecture.
Construction Philosophy
The design of the Arsenale Calendario follows a clear constructive logic. Venezianico describes it with terms like modularity, sequence, and control – and that is exactly what you see on the dial. The information is not simply scattered but deliberately organized on multiple levels: symmetrical subdials, power reserve at 12 o’clock, day-night disc at 6 o’clock. This creates depth, structure, and surprisingly good legibility.

The power reserve indicator is not just decoratively integrated either. The display at 12 o’clock is designed to work together with the logo without disturbing its position or effect. Venezianico artistically picks up this idea of efficiency, order, and technical precision here and translates it into a modern watch with an integrated strap.
The case back also reflects this reference. It points to the Venetian Arsenale as a place where tradition and innovation were not in conflict but worked together. This very tension makes the Arsenale Calendario so interesting: classic mechanical watchmaking, but in a clearly modern, constructive language.

Since 2018, I have been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project with reviews, videos, and genuine wearing experiences. Many of the watches you find here I have worn myself – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is deliberately kept personal. I only sell watches that I truly stand behind – no anonymous mass products, no dropshipping, no “quick trends.” Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are my priorities.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I like good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a noted weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
