The Venezianico Nereide diver's watch, waterproof up to a depth of 200 meters, takes its name from one of the last masterpieces of Venetian naval engineering, the submarine "Nereide". This timepiece is indeed designed to withstand strong stresses, making it particularly suitable for water sports enthusiasts.
Case with double surface finish
The case alternates between curved shapes and sharp edges, which are further highlighted by a double surface finish. The polishing of the horizontal surfaces, characterized by a pleasantly classic appearance, contrasts with the very fine brushing of the vertical surfaces, which gives the case a modern and sophisticated profile.
BK7 Glass Insert
BK7 glass has exceptional physical properties. It is lead-free, lighter, and of higher quality than other glass crystals. Its properties – low dispersion (with Abbe numbers around 60) and low refractive index (≈1.52) – combined with high clarity, make it ideal for producing high-precision and durable glass objects.
Sunray Dial
The sunray finish gives this dial its elegant and striking appearance. The name is derived from a special optical effect created by a multitude of engraved lines that converge towards the center of the dial. This causes light to reflect radially, enhancing its luminosity.
Canova Bracelet
To create this bracelet, whose design is registered, sixteen different molds are required. The double surface finish – glossy and satin-finished – mirrors that of the case, highlighting the central links and giving the bracelet elegance and balance. The butterfly clasp does not interrupt the continuity of the design, as it seamlessly integrates into the last central link.

My personal view on the Venezianico Nereide 42 - 3321511C - Green
"Für mich ist das der wahrscheinlich sinnvollste Einstieg in die Welt von Venezianico – gerade weil hier nicht versucht wird, die Uhr künstlich kompliziert zu machen. Das Seiko NH35A Automatikwerk ist robust, bewährt und genau der richtige Motor für eine Taucheruhr, die getragen werden soll. Man kann damit bedenkenlos zu fast jedem Uhrmacher gehen, die Teile sind bekannt, zuverlässig und laufen einfach. Dazu kommt das, was die Nereide für mich stark macht: 42 mm Edelstahlgehäuse, 20 ATM Wasserdichtigkeit, verschraubte Krone, Saphirglas mit Entspiegelung und ein BK7-Glas-Inlay in der Lünette. Eine klare Diver-Optik, die je nach Farbe einen ganz anderen Charakter bekommt. Nicht überdreht, nicht empfindlich, sondern eine ehrliche Automatik-Taucheruhr mit venezianischer Handschrift. Kurz gesagt: Wer eine unkomplizierte, schöne und alltagstaugliche Venezianico sucht, macht mit dieser Nereide wenig falsch. Für mich ist sie der perfekte Einstieg – solide Technik, starke Präsenz und genau genug Eigenständigkeit, damit sie nicht wie die nächste beliebige Taucheruhr wirkt."
