The Venezianico Nereide Avventurina 39mm takes its name from the 17th-century Venetian glass of the same name, which is characterized by metallic inclusions that create reflections resembling stars in the night sky.

The tungsten bezel, resistant and scratch-proof, enhances the 10.65mm case. The ergonomics are optimal thanks to the compact silhouette and the Tropic FKM rubber strap, offering comfort in every situation.

Aventurine is a difficult material to work with, as copper crystals are present in the molten glass and distribute evenly during slow cooling. To produce high-precision components, aventurine is cold-cut like a hard stone. Due to its complexity and the extensive know-how required, the production of this material is still very limited today.

The deep blue of the aventurine, against which a constellation of tiny fragments of light stands out, evokes the dense mystery of the stars and the darkness of the cosmos. The construction of the dial is completed by the rim, which features a sunburst pattern that adds further complexity to the whole.

The Tropic strap, developed in the 1960s and 1970s for flat diving watches, convinced divers with its lightness, flexibility, and characteristic braided pattern with breathable holes. For the Nereide, it has been reinterpreted and is made of galvanized FKM rubber, combining the appeal of a timeless classic with a material that guarantees durability and reliability.

Quick Release

We have introduced a quick-release system integrated into the loop of our Tropic strap, equipped with a small spring lever on the back. Simply pull it to the side to release the strap and reattach it, ensuring a stable and secure fastening.
