This Nereid gets its name from aventurine glass, a special glass processing technique that was invented in 17th century Venice and is characterized by needle-like micro-inclusions of metal that create a variety of sparkling reflections reminiscent of the stars in the night sky.
It is said that the name "Aventurine" is derived from the term "adventure", which indicates an unsafe and risky process. The Venetian glassmakers who first made aventurine did so accidentally by pouring copper shards into glass paste. The result they achieved prompted them to develop a proper process for producing and processing this compound
A constellation of tiny fragments of light stands out against the deep blue of the aventurine and is reminiscent of the dense mystery of the stars and the darkness of the universe. The Rehaut completes the design of the dial and features a sunray texture that adds additional complexity to the whole.

The entire Nereide collection is inspired by the submarine of the same name, which is depicted in the engraving in the center of the caseback. The Nereid Aventurine is a diving watch that is waterproof up to 200 m and has a rotating bezel that allows diving times to be monitored.

My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
