The Nereide Bronzo is more than just a dive watch – it is a tribute to Venice's cultural heritage and the city's traditional craftsmanship. Inspired by the legendary metal of the “Horses of San Marco,” this model combines Venetian history with modern watchmaking art. Its case is made from a special bronze alloy that develops a unique patina over time. This natural aging gives each watch an individual character and tells the story of its wearer in a distinctive way.
Exceptional Luminosity
To ensure excellent readability even in darkness, the Nereide Bronzo uses the proven Super-LumiNova® BGW9 from Switzerland. This high-quality luminous pigment remains white in daylight but glows in an intense blue-green after exposure to light in the dark. This technology is applied to the hands and hour markers as well as the fully luminescent bezel – for consistently clear visibility, even under extreme conditions.
Bronze – the Nautical Metal Par Excellence
Bronze was already the preferred material for Venetian professional divers' diving helmets in the 19th century, who performed repairs beneath the lagoon's surface. The reason is obvious: bronze does not rust, does not crack, and retains its stability even in contact with saltwater. Instead of corroding, it forms a protective oxide layer – a patina that naturally seals the material and gives it its characteristic charm.
Technology That Convices
For the first time, the Nereide is presented in a 39-mm case with a screwed case back – a clear statement towards professional use. This 316L stainless steel back protects the skin from direct contact with the bronze and is enhanced with a fine engraving of the four Horses of San Marco – a symbol of deep connection to Venetian art and culture. The case shape itself is balanced and comfortable to wear: with a height of only 10.65 mm and a lug-to-lug length of 45.5 mm, the watch sits exceptionally comfortably on the wrist.
Dial with Vintage Flair and Modern Harmony
The dial of the Nereide Bronzo was specially designed for this model. It stays true to the characteristic style of the Nereide but introduces new design details. Particularly striking are the applied, bar-shaped indices whose satin-finished surfaces emphasize the geometry of the design. For the first time, the model features golden printed elements – a nod to dive watches of the 1950s. A fine, gold-colored circle frames the dial and highlights the harmonious interplay between classic vintage character and contemporary aesthetics.
Strap with History and Future
The used Tropic strap, originally developed in the 60s and 70s for slim dive watches, has been completely redesigned for the Nereide Bronzo. Made from galvanized FKM rubber, it offers all the advantages of the original: flexibility, lightness, and a breathable design with a distinctive woven texture. Thanks to modern materials, it is now more robust and durable than ever – perfect for everyday wear but also for demanding adventures.

About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
