The Nereide Bronzo is more than just a diver's watch – it is a tribute to Venice's cultural heritage and its traditional craftsmanship. Inspired by the legendary metal of the "Horses of San Marco", this model combines Venetian past with modern watchmaking artistry. Its case is made of a special bronze alloy that develops its own unique patina over time. This natural aging gives each watch an individual touch and tells the story of its wearer in an unmistakable way.

Exceptional Luminous Power

To ensure excellent readability even in the dark, the Nereide Bronzo uses the proven Super-LumiNova® BGW9 from Switzerland. This high-quality luminous pigment remains white in daylight, but begins to glow in an intense blue-green in the dark after exposure to light. This technology is found on the hands and hour markers as well as on the fully luminescent bezel – for consistently clear visibility, even under extreme conditions.

Bronze – the nautical metal par excellence

Bronze was already the preferred material for the diving helmets of Venetian professional divers in the 19th century, who carried out repairs under the surface of the lagoon. The reason is obvious: bronze does not rust, does not crack, and retains its stability even in contact with saltwater. Instead of corroding, it forms a protective oxide layer – a patina that naturally seals the material and gives it its characteristic charm.

Technology that impresses

For the first time, the Nereide is presented in a 39 mm case with a screw-down case back – a clear statement towards professional application. This case back, made of 316L stainless steel, protects the skin from direct contact with the bronze and has been refined with a fine engraving of the four horses of San Marco – a symbol of the deep connection to Venetian art and culture. The case shape itself is balanced and comfortable to wear: With a height of only 10.65 mm and a lug-to-lug length of 45.5 mm, the watch sits exceptionally comfortably on the wrist.

Dial with Vintage Flair and Modernity in Harmony

The dial of the Nereide Bronzo was specially designed for this model. It remains true to the characteristic style of the Nereide but introduces new design details. Particularly striking are the applied, bar-shaped indices, whose satinized surfaces emphasize the geometry of the design. For the first time, the model features gold-colored printed elements – a reminiscence of diver's watches from the 1950s. A fine, gold-colored circle frames the dial and underscores the harmonious interplay between classic vintage character and contemporary aesthetics.

Strap with History and Future

The Tropic strap used, originally developed in the 60s and 70s for slim diver's watches, has been completely redesigned for the Nereide Bronzo. Made from galvanized FKM rubber, it offers all the advantages of the original: flexibility, lightness, and a breathable design with a striking woven texture. Thanks to modern materials, it is now more robust and durable than ever – perfect for everyday use, but also for demanding adventures.
