After the forging process, the titanium undergoes a precisely controlled heat treatment by hand. The metal's surface is heated with a targeted flame, without altering its structure. The result is a natural oxidation that uses no color pigments whatsoever. Instead, shimmering color gradients emerge – from rich blue to copper and violet, all the way to gold tones. Since each alloy reacts individually to heat, no two dials are alike – each is a true one-of-a-kind.
Craftsmanship and Character
The production of this special dial is not machine-made, but exclusively carried out with elaborate handcraft. The material is layered multiple times, welded under high temperature in an inert gas, then ground and shaped. This demanding artisanal process requires time, patience, and years of experience. The result is a metallic surface whose patterns and colors create a lively play of light and depth – an appearance that cannot be reproduced by industrial methods.
Robust Case, Thoughtful Design
The Nereide Ti-Damascus comes in a robust case made of 316L stainless steel with a diameter of 42 mm, a lug-to-lug distance of 49 mm, and a height of 12.5 mm. The bezel is made of polished tungsten – an extremely scratch-resistant material that boasts a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale. The sapphire crystal on the front is anti-reflective, ensuring a clear view of the impressive dial at all times. The watch's design is masculine, technical, and elegant at the same time – ideal for the modern watch wearer with a penchant for the extraordinary.
Swiss Technology with a Special Eye-Catcher
Inside the watch beats the proven Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with date function – known for its durability and precision. But what truly makes this watch special is its specially developed, skeletonized rotor. Visible through the transparent case back, it features a purple IP coating, fine Geneva stripes (Côtes de Genève), and carefully polished cut-outs. The rotor is not only functional but also a design highlight that harmoniously continues the dial's play of colors on the back of the watch.
Packaging with Artistic Claim
The packaging of this limited edition is also thoughtfully and high-quality designed. The box was exclusively created for this model and echoes the visual language of the dial. The abstract color gradients on the packaging reflect the color palette that emerges during the heat treatment of the Damascus titanium: iridescent contrasts, shimmering patterns, and unexpected shades. This was not just about an appealing exterior – the box is an extension of the design, an aesthetic whole that connects the watch and its presentation.

My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
