Light and durable

The first Venezianico Titanium model is on its way. It is light, durable, and extremely comfortable on the wrist. It is paired with a hybrid strap made of waterproof textile fibers and FKM rubber, a highly resistant material that makes the watch suitable for any situation, even the most challenging ones.

Production Process

The creation of a titanium case begins with the cleaning of the raw metal, which is then transformed into ingots or bars ready for processing. The titanium then takes on an initial shape closer to the desired design through a mold. Modern milling machines shape the titanium with extreme precision. This material, which is lighter and stronger than steel, requires special tools and slower cutting speeds to prevent overheating and preserve its properties. Finally, each case is finished by hand to ensure attention to detail and achieve the desired final appearance.

Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9

This luminescent pigment, sensitive to solar or artificial light, appears white in daylight and, once charged, glows an intense blue-green in low light conditions. While typically used on indexes and hands, on this model, it is applied across the entire bezel, ensuring excellent readability even when no light sources are available.

The legend takes shape

Titanium, known for its lightness and strength, was discovered by William Gregor in 1791 and named by Martin Heinrich Klaproth in 1795 in honor of the Titans of Greek mythology, symbols of power. With the Nereide Titanium, we wanted to pay tribute to this symbolism, drawing inspiration from Atlas, the Titan who holds up the heavens, also recalled by the famous statue in the courtyard of the Doge's Palace in Venice. A direct reference to the strength and resilience that this material represents.

Hybrid Textile-Rubber Strap

The Nereide Titanium introduces a significant innovation: a hybrid strap made of waterproof textile fibers and FKM rubber, an extremely durable material that makes the watch suitable for any, even the most extreme, situations. The clasp, also made of titanium, ensures an aesthetic and functional match with the case.

14 grams of lightness (mine included)

For those who demand extreme performance, an elastic strap weighing only 14 grams provides a secure fit even in the most challenging conditions. Its special closure system ensures that the strap remains firmly on the wrist, even if the buckle should come undone during sports activities. With this configuration, the watch weighs only 80 grams, a functional choice for a 42mm diver.
