A New Reading Concept
The Redentore Enigma introduces a different way of perceiving time: instead of the usual hand arrangement, it deliberately separates hours and minutes, making the minute display the central experience. The result is a watch that is less overloaded with information and more conducive to a clear, almost poetic reading — the minutes dominate, while the hours appear as a fine, 24-segment register.
Design That Continues Traditional Lines
Outwardly, the Enigma remains true to the Redentore family: the sinuous case shape and the purist dial without indices give the model its calm identity. But beneath this apparent simplicity lies sophistication: dauphine-shaped hands and subtle proportions combine classic craftsmanship with modern understatement, allowing the watch to be worn formally or casually.
A Dial with Depth
The dial is not a flat element, but a multi-layered work of art: a sunburst and fumé-lacquered brass base forms the stage, with CNC-milled depressions accommodating the curved rings that bear the minute and hour indications in 24 segments. When light strikes, a play of shimmer and shadow unfolds, making each Enigma a unique object.
Mechanics for Its Own Rhythm
Inside, the modified Seiko Caliber NH39 works, adapted for regulator adjustment, reliably controlling the unusual display. This automatic movement delivers solid performance, combining robust everyday usability with the fine precision expected from a modern three-hand base — only re-orchestrated for the regulator layout.
Proportions and Presence
With a 40 mm diameter, 46.7 mm lug-to-lug, and a height of 11.4 mm, the Enigma appears present without being obtrusive; the 316L stainless steel case materially embodies the gravitas of the complication. The relatively flat design ensures that the watch slides under shirt cuffs while simultaneously making a serious statement on the wrist.

My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong
Before I ship your order, I carefully inspect each watch for visible defects.
However, should a problem arise, such as a defect during transit, please inform me immediately. I will do everything in my power to find a quick solution and ensure your satisfaction.
