The Redentore Enigma introduces a different way of perceiving time: instead of the usual hand arrangement, it deliberately separates hours and minutes, making the minute display the central experience. The result is a watch that is less cluttered with information and allows for a clear, almost poetic readability — the minutes dominate, while the hours appear as a fine, 24-segment register.
Design that Continues Traditions
Outwardly, the Enigma remains true to the Redentore family: the sinuous case shape and the puristic dial without indices give the model its serene identity. Yet beneath this apparent simplicity lies sophistication: dauphine-shaped hands and subtle proportions combine classic craftsmanship with modern restraint, allowing the watch to be worn both formally and casually.
A Dial with Depth
The dial is not a flat element, but a work of art built on multiple layers: a sunburst and fumé-lacquered brass base forms the stage, CNC-milled depressions accommodate the curved rings that bear the minute and hour indications in 24 segments. When light hits it, a play of shimmer and shadow unfolds, making each Enigma a unique object.

Inside, the modified Seiko NH39 caliber operates, adapted for regulator setting, thus reliably controlling the unusual display. This automatic movement delivers solid rate accuracy and combines robust everyday usability with the fine precision expected from a modern three-hand base – only re-orchestrated for the regulator layout.

With a 40 mm diameter, 46.7 mm lug-to-lug, and a height of 11.4 mm, the Enigma is present without being obtrusive; the case made of 316L stainless steel materially embodies the gravitas of the complication. The relatively flat construction ensures that the watch slides under shirt cuffs, while still making a serious statement on the wrist.

Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures a clear view of the multi-layered dial, the screwed crown guarantees ease of use, and a water resistance of five atmospheres makes the Enigma suitable for everyday wear — technical features that provide reliability in the background without visually coming to the fore.

My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
