All about the Vintage VDB TIMER T BRONZE
Presence & Case
The case, with its striking dimensions of 48 × 57 × 20 mm, immediately occupies space on the wrist and exudes a self-assured aura — not reserved, but deliberately present. Crafted in bronze, the volume of the case contributes to a noticeable weight on the arm, instantly conveying a sense of substance and durability to the wearer. The dimensions are chosen such that the watch acts as a statement without resorting to simple showmanship. Anyone looking for a watch that stands out equally for its size and material will find a very direct, almost architectural design language here.
Surface & Patina
Bronze as a material tells its own story: even after a short period of wear, the surface begins to age and develops an individual patina, making each piece unique. This natural darkening and the resulting interplay of matte and shiny areas give the watch a vibrant look that gains character over time rather than showing signs of wear. At the same time, the material offers creative freedom: polished edges can contrast with aged surfaces, giving the design a depth that would not be possible in the same way with stainless steel.
Dial & Luminous Power
The dial and hands are equipped with Super-LumiNova, ensuring the watch remains quick and reliable to read even in low light; at dusk, clear contrasts emerge, making time-telling effortless. Unlike purely decorative dials, this luminous concept prioritizes function without sacrificing aesthetics: during the day, the dial remains legible and aesthetically pleasing, while at night, luminescence takes on the role of a reliable companion. This combination of visible design and practical readability makes the watch a dependable instrument that performs in everyday life when it's needed most.
Crown & Protection
The screw-down crown with crown protection is more than a formal detail; it is an expression of technical foresight that secures operation and protects the mechanism from unintentional interference. The crown protection reduces the risk of lateral impacts that can occur at exposed points, and the screw-down construction offers additional resistance against moisture ingress — both advantages that prove their worth in demanding everyday use. User-friendliness is maintained, however: winding and setting are done with a direct, precise feel despite the protective mechanism.
Glass & Resistance
A hardened sapphire crystal protects the dial and provides a clear view of the design — it is scratch-resistant and durable, so optical clarity is maintained even after years of intensive wear. The choice of this material supports the claim to keep the watch beautiful and functional not only today but in the long term; sapphire combines transparency with durability and makes fine details permanently visible. This ensures consistent readability and a fresher appearance for longer, which can be expected when using high-quality materials.

Movement & Precision
Inside, the proven ETA 2824-2, a Swiss automatic movement, works diligently. It is known for its robustness, ease of maintenance, and solid timekeeping. This caliber stands for technical reliability — it is easy to service, can be regulated if necessary, and offers a broad spare parts base, ensuring long-term use remains realistic and economical. For collectors and pragmatic wearers alike, choosing such a movement is a statement in favor of a mechanical heart that can withstand both everyday demands and high expectations.
Straps & Versatility
The watch comes with a leather strap and a rubber strap, allowing it to stylishly transform from an elegant companion to a sporty all-rounder. The leather strap provides classic warmth and suits more formal situations, while the rubber strap offers robustness and comfort for active use; both ensure the watch functions convincingly in various situations. This strap combination makes the watch flexibly applicable and allows the owner to quickly and effortlessly adapt its appearance to the occasion or mood.
Overall Impression
The overall impression is that of a powerful, robustly crafted timepiece that impresses with its striking presence, warm material effect, and solid Swiss inner workings. The combination of bronze, generous dimensions, and practical features such as a screw-down crown, sapphire crystal, and luminous markers is aimed at users who want a watch that is clearly defined both visually and mechanically. Those who value personality, robust technology, and the ability to wear the watch well both day and night — while appreciating the visible aging of the material as a beautiful side effect — will find a coherent and well-thought-out concept here.

FAQs
About David from WATCHDAVID
My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.
If you have any questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I will respond personally.
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.
To do this, please simply contact me. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

You contacted me, via the contact form, about the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you didn't receive a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and crazier and are sending more and more to spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it may take a little longer. As a rule, I reply within a few minutes or hours.
Something can also slip through for me. Or the technology isn't working as it should. Feel free to contact me again. david@watchdavid.com
