With the latest model in the Cricket series, Vulcain presents a timepiece that combines technical sophistication with a strong character in its design. The polished 316L stainless steel case with a diameter of 39 mm radiates classic restraint, while the domed sapphire crystal gives the design an elegant dynamism. The clear design language is perfected by a gently curved dial in semi-matte eggshell, subtly enlivened by khaki-colored printed elements and indices covered with white luminous material. The slightly curved surface of the dial ("curve dial") creates a beautiful depth effect and is reminiscent of iconic models from past decades – yet with a contemporary appeal.

At the heart of this watch beats the in-house caliber Vulcain Cricket V10 H0 – a finely constructed, mechanical alarm clock with manual winding that impresses twice over: with its technical complexity and its unmistakable sound. This movement comprises 165 individual parts, 25 jewels, and is equipped with a double barrel that independently supplies power to both the time display and the alarm mechanism. Thanks to the integrated Exactomatic system, the movement ensures uniform power transmission, thereby improving precision and stabilizing its rate. With a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, it achieves a power reserve of 52 hours – the alarm duration is approximately 20 seconds, enough to gently and stylishly wake even the deepest sleeper.

Detail-Oriented Finishing

Visually, the movement is as impressive as it is technically: a fine nickel plating, blued screws, and skeletonized ratchet wheels reveal the love for detail at first glance. Depending on the version, the case back is either solid and polished or equipped with a sapphire crystal exhibition window, allowing the intricately decorated interior to be admired. Particularly striking: the engraved Vulcain logo, which lends the timepiece a touch of artisanal signature and underscores the manufacture's tradition.
