When one thinks of the brand Vulcain, most immediately recall the legendary "Cricket". However, that would not do justice to the entire body of work of this traditional manufacture. Vulcain has much more to offer – a true treasure trove of sleeping beauties from the world of watchmaking, full of nostalgic echoes and timeless elegance. The Skindiver Nautique, in its new variant with yellow gold PVD coating, starts precisely here: It combines classic design with modern technology, thus perfectly striking a chord with a growing fan base passionate about vintage-inspired timepieces.
Classic Design with Modern Substance
The model is based on a historical archetype from the 1960s and now presents itself with a fresh look, featuring a matte black dial and finely tuned gold-colored details. The hands and indices, coated with Super-Luminova, offer excellent legibility both day and night. In combination with the unidirectional rotating bezel ring, which features a blue ceramic insert and stands in striking contrast to the gold tone, the result is a harmonious, functional, and stylish overall impression.
Robustness Meets Elegance
The watch is equipped with a 38-millimeter case made of 316L stainless steel, which acquires a noble appearance due to the gold PVD coating. Despite its refined appearance, the Skindiver meets all requirements for a professional dive watch. With a water resistance of 200 meters and a double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, it is a reliable companion both in everyday life and underwater.

Inside the watch, the proven automatic movement ETA 2824 works, a reliable Swiss classic with a 38-hour power reserve. This caliber is one of the most renowned movements in the ETA family and is known for its longevity and precision. With 28,800 vibrations per hour, it ensures a fluid movement of the second hand and consistently accurate time display – entirely in the spirit of Haute Horlogerie.
Versatility on the Wrist
The combination of a gold-colored case, a matte black dial, and white-gold contrasts gives the watch a special versatility: it appears sporty and elegant at the same time. My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong
Before I ship your order, I carefully inspect each watch for visible defects.
However, should a problem arise, such as a defect during transit, please inform me immediately. I will do everything in my power to find a quick solution and ensure your satisfaction.
