A tribute to the golden era of diving
When you think of the brand Vulcain, most people immediately think of the legendary "Cricket". But that would not do justice to the entire work of this traditional manufactory. Vulcain has much more to offer – a true treasure chest of sleeping beauties from the world of watchmaking, full of nostalgic echoes and timeless elegance. The Skindiver Nautique in its new version with yellow gold PVD coating picks up exactly here: it combines classic design with modern technology and thus hits the nerve of a growing fan base that is enthusiastic about vintage-inspired timepieces.
Classic design with modern substance
The model is based on a historical prototype from the 1960s and today presents itself in a fresh look with a matte black dial and finely tuned gold-colored details. The hands and indices, coated with Super-Luminova, offer excellent readability both day and night. Combined with the unidirectional rotating bezel, which carries a blue ceramic inlay and stands in striking contrast to the gold tone, the result is a coherent, functional, and stylish overall impression.
Robustness meets elegance
The watch is equipped with a 38-millimeter case made of 316L stainless steel, which receives a noble appearance through the golden PVD coating. Despite its fine appearance, the Skindiver meets all the requirements placed on a professional diving watch. With a water resistance of 200 meters and a double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, it is a reliable companion both in everyday life and underwater.
Mechanics at the highest level
Inside the watch works the proven automatic movement ETA 2824, a reliable Swiss classic with 38 hours power reserve. This caliber is one of the most renowned movements in the ETA family and is known for its durability and precision. With 28,800 half oscillations per hour, it ensures a smooth movement of the seconds hand and always accurate time display – entirely in the spirit of Haute Horlogerie.
Versatility on the wrist
The combination of a gold-colored case, matte black dial, and white-gold contrasts gives the watch a special versatility: it looks sporty and elegant at the same time. Particularly practical is the leather strap with carbon embossing and quick-change system, which can be easily swapped without tools. This allows the watch to be quickly adapted to different outfits or occasions – a real plus in everyday life.

About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
