All about the VULCAIN Skindiver Nautique - Salmon Beige Luminous
Skindiver Nautique – Vintage Charm Meets Modern Precision
When one thinks of Vulcain, the "Cricket" immediately comes to mind – but that's too narrow a view. The brand is a true watch jewel, deeply rooted in the history of Swiss watchmaking. With the Skindiver Nautique, Vulcain now launches a successful reinterpretation of a 1960s model. This diver's watch combines nostalgic design with reliable technology and is aimed at anyone looking for a stylish watch with character and substance.
Technology with Tradition – The Heart of the Watch
Inside the Skindiver Nautique works the proven ETA 2824, a mechanical automatic caliber with self-winding. With 38 hours of power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it belongs to the reliable classics among Swiss movements. This robust and easy-to-maintain movement is the ideal heart for a watch that convinces both in everyday life and underwater.
Design for Adventurers – Stylish and Functional
With its 38-millimeter stainless steel case, the Skindiver Nautique appears pleasantly proportioned – not too bulky, but still present on the wrist. The case is made of vertically brushed 316L stainless steel, complemented by a unidirectional rotating bezel with a black ceramic insert and striking white numerals. The domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating ensures excellent readability in all light situations.

Distinctive Dial – With Luminova Accents
A real highlight is the salmon-colored dial with black markings, which gives the model an elegant retro touch. The applied indices are coated with Beige Super-Luminova, just like the hands – so the watch remains perfectly legible even in the dark. The finely printed minute track and signature blend harmoniously into the classic overall picture.
Strap with Comfort and Style
Comfort is paramount with the Skindiver Nautique. The leather strap with black carbon embossing and matching stitching ensures a sporty and elegant look. Thanks to the practical quick-change system, the strap can be swapped in a few simple steps – ideal for wearers who like to vary.
The Vulcain Manufacture – A Legacy Continues
Vulcain has been one of the established names in the Swiss watch world since 1858. The brand, based in the traditional Le Locle, in the heart of the Neuchâtel mountains, stands for genuine watchmaking and technical innovation. Even today, the timepieces are manufactured in-house – with high standards of quality and craftsmanship. With the Skindiver Nautique, Vulcain continues this tradition and offers a model that elegantly connects past and present.

FAQs
About David from WATCHDAVID
My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.
If you have any questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I will respond personally.
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.
To do this, please simply contact me. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it may take a little longer. As a rule, I reply within a few minutes or hours.
Something can also slip through for me. Or the technology isn't working as it should. Feel free to contact me again. david@watchdavid.com
