All about the ZRC Geneve Heritage REEDITION GF3811121113
All about the ZRC Geneve RÉÉDITION GF3811121113 (formerly GF38163), which impresses with its black dial.
Every detail of this distinctly sporty-elegant diver’s watch corresponds to the original model from the early 1960s.
Features of the ZRC Geneve RÉÉDITION GF3811121113
It is more than just a diver’s watch, because with its bold and timeless design, this model has all the qualities to become an everyday companion for men and women. The simple, domed dial, the hands in Magnum style, the hour markers, and the minimalist bezel give it a multifaceted personality. The comfortable steel bracelet of the GF38163 - S2 emphasizes its elegant character by perfectly complementing the distinctive lines of the iconic hexagonal steel case. As with all ZRC® watches, the modern design ensures ultimate water resistance and incorporates the latest innovations in programmed material deformation.
1970
ZRC® developed an exclusive, retractable approach specifically designed for the space between the lugs, which only allows the crown to pass through or the bracelet to rotate when in the closed position, making it impossible to submerge the watch if the crown is not fully screwed down. Also original is the bracelet with its two extendable links, allowing the watch to be worn over a diving suit without further adjustments. The ultra-luminous Magnum hands ensure perfect readability underwater. The revolutionary ZRC Grands Fonds® watch was issued to the Paris Fire Brigade and the French water skiing team. Above all, it was the watch of the French Navy (Toulon diving school, third division of the Toulon mine clearance divers, Commando Hubert) as well as the Italian Navy. As a watch made by divers for divers, it was also adopted by non-military units supported by the French Navy, including the famous Calypso of Commander Cousteau, which brought the watch worldwide and cemented its reputation.

FAQs
About David from WATCHDAVID
My name is David and I have been deeply involved with watches for many years – not only as a dealer but especially as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I have been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project with reviews, videos, and genuine wearing experiences. Many of the watches you find here I have worn myself – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is deliberately kept personal. I only sell watches that I truly stand behind – no anonymous mass products, no dropshipping, no “quick trends.” Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are my priorities.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I like good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a noted weakness for Kinder Chocolate.
If you have questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I respond personally.
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.
Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

You wrote to me via the contact form, through the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you haven't received a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and pushing more and more into spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
Something can slip past me sometimes too. Or the technology doesn't work as it should. Feel free to write to me again at david@watchdavid.com
Mechanics - Sometimes things can happen there too
Before I ship your order, I carefully check each watch for visible defects.
If a problem should occur, such as damage during transport, please inform me immediately. I will do everything possible to quickly find a solution and ensure that you are satisfied.
My goal is to offer you not only high-quality products but also a first-class shopping experience. I look forward to welcoming you as a satisfied customer!
