The Grands Fonds combines comfort and traditional beauty with uncompromising technical dependability. This modern version of the original Grands Fonds 300® with its blue dial and rubber strap offers all the advantages of a diver’s watch.
Features of the ZRC Geneve OSMIUM GF42118
With its blue sunburst dial, brushed steel case, and FKM rubber strap, this model embodies the essence of the ZRC Grands Fonds 300® diver’s watch. The Crown Protection System™ ensures a secure, watertight closure. The strap can only be fastened when the crown at 6 o’clock is fully screwed down. The ECS™ system provides optimal rinsing after diving and allows removal of impurities and salt crystals that have settled between the unidirectional rotating bezel with ceramic insert and the case. The hands and date are powered by a reliable Swiss-made automatic movement.
INCLUSION IN THE NAVY EQUIPMENT CATALOG
All watches were therefore subjected to a testing phase during which they were tried under all possible conditions of “military harsh use”. The STCM in Paris approves the new devices and includes them in the general equipment catalog of the Commissariat, assigning them a provisional 13-digit “Naval Management Number (MGM).” This provisional number is later converted into a NATO stock number (NSN). The watches, originally classified as deep-sea diver’s watches of family 6645, were later moved to group 63, family 6355.

"The ZRC Grands Fonds, originally developed by ZRC in 1958 and recognized in 1964 as the official watch of the French Navy, has secured a place in history through its exceptional sturdiness and technical finesse. Specifically designed for diving missions up to a depth of 300 meters, it impressed with its distinctive silhouette featuring the prominent screw-down crown positioned at 6 o’clock. These qualities, combined with its durable construction, ensured that the Grands Fonds never lost its relevance over the decades. Also impressive is that the watches were even tested down to 1,500 meters. In case you need to go even deeper... :-) The approval by the STCM in Paris and inclusion in the equipment catalogue with a fixed NATO stock number (NSN) alone demonstrate the high quality, even in military use. A truly beautiful, very comfortable diving watch from ZRC Geneve 1904. And this is the last available one. A pity, because the blue colour is quite striking and unique..."

WATCHDAVID.SHOP is deliberately kept personal. I only sell watches that I truly stand behind – no anonymous mass products, no dropshipping, no “quick trends.” Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are my priorities.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I like good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a noted weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
