Half a decade has passed again! Five years ago, in 2018, a G-SHOCK was seen for the first time in the virtual British band Gorillaz's "Humility" music video. It was just the starting signal of an elaborate cooperation in which each of the four Comic characters and band members received their own reference:

Real fans of the band, which was founded in 1998, certainly don't need to explain who the individual characters are and what instruments they play. Over the course of their history, the Gorillaz have achieved cult status. The collaboration with the iconic G-SHOCK brand was part of the 35th anniversary that the Japanese celebrated.

2D's real name is Stuart Harold Pot and he is the lead singer of Gorillaz. The blue-haired frontman's watch is black and stands out with its gold accents. You can find his striking silhouette on the resin band; the band's logo has been lovingly printed over the golden display.
