Half a decade has passed again! In 2018, five years ago, a G-SHOCK was seen for the first time in the "Humility" music video by the virtual British band Gorillaz. It was the start of an elaborate cooperation in which each of the four Comic characters and band members received their own reference:

Of course, fans of the band, which was founded in 1998, don't need to explain who the individual characters are and what instruments they play. Over the course of their history, the Gorillaz have achieved cult status. The collaboration with the similarly iconic G-SHOCK brand was part of the 35th anniversary that Casio celebrated in 2018.

Murdoc Faust Niccals is the band's founder and bass player. The silhouette of his striking face can be found on the strap of the watch. The Gorillaz x G-SHOCK DW-5600GRLZM-3ER “Murdoc” is decorated in a shade of green, which is also the same color as his face. The band logo is printed above the display.
