The big special model weeks continue. With the Ternos Professional Megalume Automatic, the Swiss manufacturer DAVOSA is now presenting us with a collector's item that is based on a successful diving watch collection.

The 50 ATM (500m) waterproof case with automatic helium valve and anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal as well as a matt high-tech ceramic bezel visually fades into the background thanks to a black DLC plating. The integrated rubber strap including diver's extension underlines the unmistakable tool watch character of the Ternos Professional Megalume.

What makes the DAVOSA Ternos Professional Megalume Automatic shine

DAVOSA didn't skimp on the luminous coating and applied Swiss SuperLuminova luminous material of type C3 to the entire dial. The ultra-phosphorescent light takes readability to a new level that is not known from conventional diving watches. Of course, illuminating a large area of ​​the dial is not a completely new invention. However, the DAVOSA Ternos Professional Megalume Automatic scores points in terms of implementation. I've never seen it so good anywhere else!

And if you would have thought that we would have ticked off the topic of lighting, you are wrong. In addition to the C3 luminous material, DAVOSA works with SuperLumiNova BGW9. This means that the hands, indices and the diving triangle on the bezel are illuminated. In a cool shade of blue, they stand out from the green background. The contrast is sufficiently high to be able to distinguish between the two lights.
