Le Forban Sécurité Mer diving watches is a French watch brand that flies somewhat under the radar for many watch fans; wrong in my opinion. Because while the majority of people are primarily interested in the Swiss market, French watches sometimes fall out of sight. However, it is worth taking a look at the timepieces from our Swiss neighbors. After all, there are brands like Le Forban Sécurité Mer.

Le Forban Sécurité Mer - La Malouine
The company was first founded in 1969, but went bankrupt in the 1980s due to the quartz crisis. It was only in 2019 that Le Forban Forban Sécurité Mer was successfully revived by Jean Sebastien Coste. Coste had already achieved this five years earlier with the watch brand Triton. Le Forban Forban Sécurité Mer is based in Paris.

It is thanks to the southern French watch lover Jean Sebastien Coste that the traditional watch brand Le Forban Sécurité Mer was brought back to life in 2019. Since then, chronographs have been built again based on the old model and can certainly compete with the great Swiss models.
